• Every puja should start with the utterance of Gayatri mantra.
• Then it is customary to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha

• Then comes the consecrating of water on puja items and devotees for shuddhi.
• Then breaking a coconut and offering to God is customary
• Read the Satyanarayan katha to invoke blessings
