Dussehra is the celebration of Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. The famous Hindu epic, Ramayana states the story where Ravana kidnaps Maa Sita, Rama’s wife. His motive was to claim vengeance on Lakshamana and Rama for cutting the nose of his sister, Surpanakha. However, Lord Rama wins the battle and rescues his wife.
